At the London Hunt and Country Club smart casual dress for men and appropriate attire for ladies is required. Please see the following dress code summary for both. Please click here for an amended dress code to be will be implemented on a trial basis beginning July 2015.

Golf Course

  • traditional golf attire

  • collared shirt or turtle or mock neck top

  • collarless shirts with sleeves or sleeveless shirts with collars (women)

  • shirts must be tucked in unless specifically designed to be worn on the outside

  • no bare midriffs

  • tailored pants or tailored Bermuda style shorts (maximum 2” above the knee)

  • cargo pants and cargo shorts are not permitted

  • warm-up pants acceptable in inclement weather on the course

  • only golf related insignia on clothing

  • golf socks, sockettes or knee socks (no slough socks) must be no more than 2” above the ankle

  • golf shoes with metal spikes and golf sandals are not permitted

Tennis Chalet

  • appropriate tennis attire

  • proper tennis shoes

  • only tennis related insignia on clothing

  • basic t-shirts are not acceptable

The Glenmore, Grill Room, Blue Lounge, Board Room and Wine Room

  • golf attire acceptable

Mixed Lounge

  • golf attire and tennis attire acceptable


  • golf attire and tennis attire acceptable

  • tailored men’s shirts can be worn outside of the slacks

The Main Lounge, Main Dining Room and South Lounge

  • collared shirts, turtle neck or mock turtle neck tops with a jacket

  • tie is optional (except for special events when alternate dress is specified)

No denim clothing of any kind (jeans, pants, jackets, skirts, shirts, shorts or tops designer or otherwise) is permitted on the Club property at any time. The Trap Chalet and any specified Club function are exempt from this policy.
